BLACKSEA

I make short films and build hardware.

Nobody taught me any of it. Most of what I know, I looked up halfway through a project.

Fahrenheit 451 is a four-minute short after Ray Bradbury, and it’s on YouTube. I wrote and directed it, and shot it on a Blackmagic Pocket 4K. Next is Desolation, a psychological horror short for one flat and two actors. It’s still on paper, which is the cheapest stage of any film.

The IR visor is a night-vision monocular built around a Raspberry Pi. It took a lot of soldering and some power electronics, because a 10 W infrared LED wants its own constant-current driver. I drew the case in SolidWorks and printed it in PETG. It works, and it’s still a prototype.

I also build apps, in Python and for the web, with a lot of help from AI tools. Sift is an iOS app where an AI curator picks music for you. It’s waiting on its App Store launch.
